Burke and my dad went skydiving today!
Well, it was actually indoors, but had the same sensation. My dad was a Green Beret (his hands are registered weapons), and he was in the Airborne division. That means he used to jump out of airplanes back in the day.
We wanted to give him that same opportunity, except without the element of danger, so we got him an indoor skydiving experience for Christmas.
Burke had already gotten a certificate for Father's Day, since he had been not-so-subtly mentioning it since the place opened.
My dad and Burke got together and "flew" today. They did great and had a lot of fun.
